Investment

We are firm believers in the value and necessity of community care. With this in mind, we have created a pricing model that allows families to choose the option that fits their budget best. The “standard rate” reflects what it costs to run the program. The “community rate” offers a more accessible option. For those able to contribute a little extra, the “sustaining rate” makes the community rate possible for other families. All supplies and materials are included.

Fall Session Themes

Thursdays Oct. 22, Nov. 19, & Dec. 10 @ 10:00-11:30 am

Each session will have a general theme or focus meant to spark inspiration. The first half of the session will be a teacher-led exercise. The second half of the session will allow for student-led exploration with several engaging prompts/provocations available.

Autumn in the Studio: A Creative Celebration of all things Autumn

We’ll observe and capture the beauty of the season in an approachable and fun still-life drawing exercise. From there, students will have several creative prompts to explore further. This includes, an autumn tree sculpture, leaf collage, and fall landscape drawing.

Blots & Blooms: Exploring Ink & Watercolor

This session will be equal parts science experiment and art exploration as learners try out a variety of different techniques using watercolor and ink. They’ll learn how to create super cool watercolor blooms and ink blots as well as how to incorporate different materials such as salt and rubbing alcohol to create very interesting effects in the paint.

Winter in the Studio: A Creative Celebration of Winter

This cozy session will offer several different ways to engage in creative exploration of Winter. For this session, we’ll find inspiration in books and stories about winter. Then explore several different mixed-media methods to create beautiful winter-inspired art.

FAQs

Do parents/caregivers need to stay for the whole session?

1

This is entirely up to you. Parents/caregivers are welcome to stay especially if it’s a smaller group. Otherwise, go enjoy downtown Ripon. We’re also very close to the public library which has a beautiful new children’s department. Leave the older kids at the studio, and take the littles to the library!

I have multiple kids, this is still a little pricey for us. Can we break the payment into installments?

2

Yes! Just choose this option at checkout.

How is this different than doing art projects at home?

3

Homeschool Art Circle allows learners many opportunities to explore creatively that they may not have access to at home. They will be able to try many “real” art supplies. They will get to work in a working art studio. They will be able to collaborate and share ideas. They will experience working with a teaching-artist with a background in both fine art and education. Best of all…you don’t need to worry about the mess!

What if I have questions before we register? Can I set up a time to connect?

4

Of course! You can fill out our contact form or call/text 920-745-0917
