Creating Comfort: Art Journaling for Challenging Times
Sat. June 7
9am - 1 pm
This is the next level of our art journaling offerings. The first being Art Journaling for Mind, Body, Spirit which teaches the basics of art journaling and creativity as a wellness practice.
Creating for Comfort will delve a bit deeper into the healing aspect of these practices and how to use them with intention during challenging times. This is a class intended to benefit anyone whose life has been touched by sadness, grief, or loss either on a personal level or in terms of the collective grief we are all learning to hold with compassion and hope.
The practices taught in this class will offer participants the chance to imagine the possibility of holding both the grief of what’s been lost along with the love that remains and the hope of what’s to come.
Art Journaling for Mind, Body, & Spirit is a great intro to this course, but it is not a pre-requisite.
